I have now been out of Scientology for over 7 years.
I got married to the "wog" world (as cult members refer to non-Scientologists) and even after 7 years I have no urge to ever be unfaithful. No 7 year itch; it's the 7-year ditch!
Ditching Scientology after having spent so much time, effort and money getting all the way up to OT 8 was not an easy thing to do, specially as I knew that I would have to suffer the inevitable "disconnection" from all my hundreds of friends. That was the tough part.
The easy part was abandoning such things as; the thursday 2pm stat pushes, the closed-minded cold-hearted fixed mentality, the lack of any real Love in the group due to no connection with any Divine presence, God etc.., the constant drain of monies, energy and contribution by Management enforced on members, the corrupt secret heirarchies of greed and the refusal of Scn "ethics" to ever grant me any being-ness as a "gay" person.
The amazing thing, to me, is that not once, since I left have I ever "needed a session"! I have not missed the auditing one litlle bit. It got so bad with false "handlings", out-tech "Confessionals" that getting rid of the auditing was a relief!
I do not miss the "latest tech breakthroughs", the mass "Ron-hysteria events" with the un-numbered stat graphs inflating me with fake pride, the elitist "Maiden Voyage" conclaves, the scathing and derisory self-righteous OSA "results" on "enemies", the gold braided ranks of ice-cold fake navy robots or the endless demands for my money, etc, etc...
Life after OT is good, very good, when I am OUT OUT OUT of Scientology!
I never got an "SP Declare" but if anyone still "in" can get me a copy pls send it to me as I want to frame it.
<font face="Verdana,Ariel"> For the info of those who care, what I have experienced (as stated below)since leaving is that the sterile, ingrained cult-soaked "personality" of the "eligible OT8 Scientologist" has peeled away progressively.
I feel so sorry for those still drowned inside that big cold tank of spiritual mediocrity. Some of them are soooo brainwashed! I hope they get to wake up one of these days.
I found it to be a layer upon layer of conditioned behavior, all designed to rob me of my personal determinism and power and hand it to the cult "group" (as in the Borg, on Star-Trek). it is almost as if policy letters, bulletins, books, courses and briefings were running themselves out. It was very revealing. I was shocked to have swallowed all that stuff whole while I was a member. Yuk!
It has been amazing to see the subtle lies and behavior settings drop away and leave me freer than I have ever been.
The layers were like pieces of a straightjacket getting cut away piece by piece, freeing up my own basic personality. In some ways it has been like the death of a Scientologist and the real me rising from the ashes successfully.
I am grateful for the new life I have, however it manifests, outside the Scientology "collective".
It is not that the cult contains nothing of value; it would have to in order to keep members glued to it. It is just that I feel that THE BRIDGE TO O.T IS A TUNNEL TO CULT-MINDED SLAVERY, in my experience.
The "OT Powers" have never been openly demonstrated or proven to exist, yet people like me have paid large sums to "receive" them from the "Tech".
I have found it far more beneficial, and a lot less costly to read genuine books that have authentic intentions to help readers have the comfort that comes from open Truth, not esoteric "tech".
For those leaving the cult I recommend reading such books as;
1. Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walsch (a series of books) 2. The Power of Intention by Dr Wayne Dyer.
3. The book of Secrets by Deepak Chopra 4. The Power of Now by eckert Tolle.
I can only give my heartfelt love and compassion (very un-Scientological!) to any Scientologists who may be finding out how they have been hoodwinked and deciding to leave. There is life after the cult, and it can be very good, but it will most likely be after shedding the skin of the "standard Scientologist" valence and allowing the fake conditionings to fall away.
It is worth the effort,as without that effort and persistance in escaping the clutches of the cult collective (hive, swarm, clam-bed), nothing of your own basic personaility can rise, uncontaminated for the cess pool of cult-minded slavery.
Lots of Love to all those sincere folks who can dig themselves out of the slave-mines of Scientology and see the light of day once more.
Bravo to all those who have done so!
The warmth of genuine unselfish compassion gives a new friendliness to the seasons of our lives. Wishing you years of healing, new freedom and the Power that YOU ALREADY ARE already being re-found and enjoyed.
Ditch the labyrinth of tech complexity and open up to the simplicities of your own divine self, newly expressed.
