Since there seems to be a discussion of sexuality going on, I
thought I'd find an book that my mother gave me when I was in
high school. Well folks, here are some brilliant ideas on
sexuality fostered by some Christians:
"For a guy, sex is primarily physical... A woman's sexual
response is different. She won't get stimulated physically
unless her heart is involved in it."
"A sexual relationship with a guy involves everything she is
and how she feels about the guy. She can go through the
motions, but unless she's convinced inside that the guy cares
about her, her body won't respond physically."
"A guy's body is not an intimate thing to him. That's why
guys aren't as modest. In a guy's locker room, a hundred of
them will be lined up taking showers and it's no big deal. A
girl's locker room usually has individual show stalls. Their
bodies are very private for them. Guys walk around nude in
locker rooms and think nothing of it. Their bodies are just
"Girls are as modest with their bodies as guys are with their
hearts, because a girl can't share her body without sharing her
heart as well."
"A guy gives his heart through what he says and does. ... A
girl can also reveal her heart by what she says, but she also
gives her heart when she gives her body. It's like a balloon
that's filled with feelings... For a guy, the feelings would
come out of the mouth of the balloon whereas for a girl, her
feelings come out of every pore."
"Most sex outside of marriage is much less enjoyable than what
sex was intended to be because it goes only halfway. If you go
halfway too many times, you're going to break."
"When you lose your virginity, you start to look at yourself
as dirty, as less than a whole person. From there, it's a
downward spiral because the next time you're involved in a
relationship, you're a little bit harder and your body means a
little bit less... and so it keeps spiraling further and further
"Sex outside of marriage is like charging on a credit card.
The problem is that the guy enjoys no and rarely pays later.
The girl hardly enjoys now, and then she's the one who pays and
pays and pays."
